Linkom-PC at BIZIT 2023

November 8-9,2023-  Linkom-PC was in attendance for the BIZIT event – the largest business and IT regional conference.

BIZIT is an annual event  which gathers business and IT companies from the region. It’s organized by PC Press, the leading personal computer magazine and portal in Serbia.

Some companies were invited to attend the presentations (Linkom-PC among them), while others were given an opportunity to present them. Presentations were basically advices from each company how to improve your business, mostly IT related, with occasional economy references. Presenters, along with company representatives, also included special guests, like influential figures and experts in the regional IT business. The organizers of BIZIT always seem to insist on a variety of different presenters in order to mix things up, keep things fresh and cover as many subjects and areas as possible related to business IT, including the hottest trends and topics.

The presentations of special guests were very insightful and open-minded. More about life itself and not just limited to the typical business IT spheres only. They provided an arsenal of options which we can choose from on how to improve our results. They had a perfect mix of dead serious and playful, creating an ideal contrast to balance things out. The presentations of other presenters were mostly on the typical side – mostly done in predictable generalities, with not many precise examples and worn-out repetitive business cliches. If anything, each and every one who stepped on the stage was in very good spirits.

Along with the aforementioned presentations, both days of the event also featured panel discussions with the idea to have some form of debates between different companies, in some cases even competitors. Each representative of the companies participating in the panel tried to provide their own perspectives of business as well as their own experiences, which also included some personal stories and confessions. The discussion that caused the most stir was the one related to AI. It was so intense that some attendees were even talking about it afterwards backstage in the hall, suggesting how intense it was.

The presentations can be very useful and companies like Linkom-PC can learn a lot from such an event. It never hurts to hear more stories from different companies and how they experienced certain challenges in their respective business areas. It’s also a great way to find out about companies that may not be much familiar to a broader audience, which is an opportunity to not only hear their business motos, but also exchange some thoughts with them, and maybe even create new contact with companies that might become your future business partners and collaborate with you in everyday business adventures. A lot of good can come out of such an event, with a variety of business IT companies gathered around, hoping to collectively learn from and share stories with each other. It’s a wonderful way of connecting people, even though there are examples of there being companies on the event together that are competitors in the market. But all of that on this event is pushed aside and everybody tries to be helpful and have a good time with each other. It’s a nice way to put all the stresses of everyday business aside in an attempt to simply enjoy the event and its purpose. There was no sense of competition throughout the course of the entire event, only the friendliest chatter everywhere and so many smiles on people’s faces.

BIZIT was organized for the 10th time, starting in 2014. This jubilee was recognized on multiple occasions by the organizers, making sure that the attendees were aware of this very important milestone. The event itself was organized through some of the toughest years of late, under very risky circumstances, which is why the organizers were so proud of this accomplishment.

As a dear friend to the organizers of the event, Linkom-PC wishes BIZIT and PC Press many more years of success with this event, which is of major importance for all the upcoming trends waiting to happen.
